RCDV Safe Haven Gives Survivors A Voice October 24

ASHLAND, OH- The Rape Crisis Domestic Violence Safe Haven in Ashland is hosting a Survivor Speak Out event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The event starts at 6:30pm on October 24 at 34 W. Second Street in Ashland.

The night will give survivors the opportunity to speak out and share how domestic violence has impacted their lives.  The event is open to survivors and anyone who wants to show support. No one will be required to speak during the event.

Survivors can also submit anonymous stories that will be read by advocates during the event.  To submit a story or to get more details about the event call 419-282-6097 or email [email protected]

    The City of Ashland will kick off the holiday season with this year's annual Christmas Parade and Official Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in downtown Ashland. The fireworks display will return this year immediately following the tree lighting ceremony.
