Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Mansfield started its annual two-day bake sale Wednesday. The church's basement is filled with tasty home-made treats, including the popular cabbage rolls and baklava. Bake sale coordinator Ann Brown says church members also made more than 500 Poticas and a couple of hundred more braided breads and butter rings, not to mention hundreds of pounds of chocolates, cookies, and brownies. The bake sales raises about $15,000 and attracts hundreds of people. The Saint Peter's bake sale runs until 7 pm Wednesday and continues Wednesday from seven am to one pm. |
