Ohio's chief elections official is fanning-out across the state to hold regional meetings with local election boards. Secretary of State Jon Husted's first stop was Monday at Mohican State Park Lodge in Perrysville, where he spoke to one-hundred elections officials about his initiative "Easier to Vote, Harder to Cheat'. That involves some changes to the election process. After Labor Day and in time for the November election, every registered voter in Ohio will receive a mail-in ballot should they choose to use it. Also, duplicate registrations and those of people who have died, were removed from the rolls. Husted also went to Knox County to address National Federation of Business members on his office's role in serving companies and the importance of small businesses to the state's economy.
