MANSFIELD, OH -  The Mansfield-Richland County Public Library once again hosted Lego Mania in the Children's Department of the Main Library. Lego Mania is held once every three months at the library, although the actual toy legos are available for children (and adults) to play with every day during business hours.

While the Legos are available normally, Children's Assistant Librarian Caroline Rivers points out, "there's something about having an official afternoon where they can come and build with [their friends and family]."

Children are invited to build whatever they can imagine with the library provided Legos, and when they are finished the librarians will help them fill out a card with their name and display the creations for all to see. 17 children had attended the event by 3:00 PM, and the event ran from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

"I think its very cool that you can come here and build legos, because... it's something to do [instead of] being bad," said library attendee and excellent lego-builder, Amarion William. Many other children in attendance agreed the event was a lot of fun.

While the main branch of the library holds the Lego Mania event, the other branches help children get their fill of Legos by offering Lego Clubs.
