ONTARIO, OH - Haring Realty has announced the 2nd "Richlandopoly" fundraiser for late February of this year.

In cooperation with the United Way of Richland County, the live-action life-size board game event will be providing employees of Richland County businesses to come together for the fundraiser.

Money is raised by local businesses sponsoring a property on the 20x20 board or by the team when they play the game. Teams will create their own oversized game pieces to move around the board, roll 2' dice, and exchange giant money. Players could also be sent to a life-size jail space.

Eight teams from area businesses have been entered to play the 2019 game.

Last years Richlandopoly winner was The Ohio State Reformatory. The team won a trophy,  40 Monopoly cookies specially designed and made by Buckeye Bakery, and bragging rights.

Haring Realty along with 35 local businesses are planning to increase the amount raised beyond the nearly $8,000 that was presented to the United Way at last years event.

The event will be held at the Richland Mall on February 22nd. Gameplay will begin at 11 AM and concludes at 1 PM.
