The city of Ontario street department will begin lead pick-up on Oct. 28. Residents are asked to have leaves raked to the front of the yard.

Also, the following rules will apply for pick-up. No sticks or yard waste is to be included, do not pile leaves on the street or close to a mailbox and do not park on the street in front of leaf piles.

If the street department can not vacuum the leaves due to a parked vehicle, the resident will have to wait until the next pick-up in that area.

The last day for leaf pick-up will be Nov. 13.
