The Crestview Cougars started their regional quarter-final with Hillsdale fast as the Cougars jumped out to a 16-0 lead early on.  First, Crestview marched 80 yards in 11 plays after the opening kickoff, with Loren Hulit scoring from six yards out for a quick 6-0 lead.  The Cougars would strike again on their next series when Hulit would score again after taking an option pitch 36 yards for another touchdown.  The point after was good and Crestview led 13-0.  Then later,  Nuno Aleedia's 32 yard field goal made it 16-0 Crestview .  Hillsdale would finally get on the board at the 4:08 mark of the second quarter when quaterback Dylan Kingan hooked up with Justin Huber from 16 yards out.  The try for two was good and it was 16-8 Cougars.  The Falcons would strike again just before the break with Kingan hooking up with Ryan Moore for a seven yard touchdown making it 16-14 at the break.  Hillsdale would take the lead in the third quarter on a reverse pass from Ryan Moore to Huber covering 22 yards and the Falcons led 20-16.  Crestview would come right back on their next series when quarterback Matt Hall found Paul Pickworth for a 61 yard touchdown, the point after was good putting the Cougars back on top 23-20 after three.  Hillsdale would then take the lead for good when after a short Cougar punt, the Falcons went 32 yards in three plays with Zach Falk going the final five yards to put HIllsdale back up 26-23.  Hillsdale would then put the game away by going 42 yards in seven plays with Ryan Brewer going the last five yards for the score.  The point after was good and that would be the final score as Hillsdale would win it 33-23 over Crestview.  The Cougars end their season at 9-2, while Hillsdale improves to 9-2 and will play undefeated Patrick Henry next week.  The Patriots bounced Northwood 41-14 in their playoff opener.
