Barbra (Heinlen Cahill) Beighley went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 9:30 p.m. at Mansfield Memorial Homes. She was born at Bucyrus Hospital on October 16, 1944 to the late William and Mary (Haycook) Heinlen. Barbra graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1964. Barbra was married to Joe Cahill and later to James Beighley on August 26, 1989, who lives in Mansfield. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Sheila (Cahill) and Todd Heiberger; and grandchildren, Nathan and Emily of Sandusky. Also surviving Barbra are three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Linda, Charles and Nancy, and Raymond and Barbara Heinlen, all of Bucyrus. She is also survived by her father-in-law and his wife, Rev. and Mrs. Carl (Barbara) Beighley of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Cahill in 1999; and brother, Wayne Heinlen in 1941. Barbra enjoyed doing crafts and fixing food, as she worked as a cook at eateries in New Washington and Tiro, and in Shelby at Johnnies Lunch which she later owned with her husband, Jim. They later sold it and worked at Wal-Mart in Ontario until her illness last fall 2008. They later moved to Mansfield. Barbra enjoyed people and had many friends. She also enjoyed going to church at Ontario United Methodist Church where she was a member. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. A memorial service will be held at the Ontario United Methodist Church, State Route 309, Ontario, Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. David Case, where there will be a celebration of Barbra’s life. At her wishes, Barbra will be cremated. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Barbra Beighley.
