Callers are also stating that they do cannot find any face masks for purchase at stories in the local area.

The Area Agency on Aging is asking the public to donate any protective masks in order to assist seniors in the community. Donations can be dropped off at the agency drop off box located outside their main offices at 2131 Park Avenue West in Ontario. Ohio.

Masks donated will then be sent out via mail to area seniors.

"We know that the older population is at a very high risk of COVID-19, and protecting them is what we all want to do, and that's certainly the mission of the area agency," said Teresa Cook, Vice President of Administrative Services. "They are hearing the news that we need to be wearing that mask, but they have no way to get one."
