Galion, Ohio. At 3-3, the Galion Tigers bounced back after a tough loss the week before to the Clear Fork Colts in knocking off Shelby 27-14. Head coach Matt Dick says the team did a nice job of bouncing back. "I think we did a good job of bouncing back after we had a tough loss to Clear Fork and that stuck with us. said Dick. " We had to get a new perspective and we talked about learning from our loss and growing together. We had a lot of different players step in and play some new positions and they played well and we got off to a good start on offense we were clicking and our defense held strong at the end," said Dick. The coach said it was just another case of the team battling through adversity. "We have faced a lot of adversity this season with a player passing away injuries and it just seems like the next kid steps up. The one perspective is the kid is out with an injury and that is bad for him but at the same time, it gives somebody else an opportunity. Offensive and defensive lineman Landon Kurtzman says the win was nice but it's time to move on and adds Ontario has a good running attack. "They have a good run game and we have to prepare to stop it." said Kurtzman. The Galion vs Ontario football game can be seen live on Friday evening with the kickoff at 7:pm on WMFD TV.
