LEXINGTON, OH - In a hard-fought game at Lexington High School, the Minutemen successfully defended their impressive record, securing a 52-40 victory over the Dover Crimson Tornados. Despite a spirited effort from Dover, who battled throughout the game, Lexington's strong shooting and defensive play helped them secure the win and improve their season record to 14-2.

First Half Recap:
Lexington started the game with a strong offensive showing, finishing the first half up by a comfortable margin. Gavin Husty was a standout for the Minutemen, shooting 6-8 from the field, including 3-5 from three-point range, and leading his team with 15 points. Fellow senior Brayden Fogle also contributed, finishing with 13 points. The Minutemen's efficient offense (21-40 from the field) helped them maintain control throughout the game, with a solid rebounding advantage (29-22).

Dover, who struggled with shooting, finished the game 15-41 from the field and couldn’t quite catch up after falling behind early. The Tornadoes had a tough time finding their rhythm, especially from beyond the arc, finishing just 5-19 from three-point range.

Second Half:
Despite being down early, Dover didn’t give up and continued to fight throughout the second half. However, they were unable to make a significant run to close the gap, and Lexington’s depth and balanced attack proved to be too much. For the Tornadoes, Mason Grewell led the way with 18 points, providing a scoring spark for Dover. Robbie Copple added 11 points, and Dieter Weber finished with five. Jack McKinnon and Colin Bruno each contributed, but the team was ultimately held back by a high number of turnovers (18) compared to just nine for Lexington.

On the Minutemen’s side, in addition to Husty'stellar performance, Jakob Legron had a solid showing with five points and contributed on defense. Markale Martin and Joe Caudill added to the Minutemen’s lead with a combined nine points.
