Richland Co. Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Is August 14th

ONTARIO, OH - From 4 PM through 8 PM on August 14th, the Third Annual Richland County Law Enforcement Day will be held at Ontario's O'Charley's Restaurant.

The event gives local residents a chance to meet police officers and law enforcement personnel from all branches of Richland County. Participating departments include Richland County Sheriff's Office, along with Mansfield, Ontario, Lexington, Shelby, and Bellville Police, among others.

Several features of this year's event include hands-on displays of police equipment and vehicles, with K-9 Unit demonstrations and cruise-ins for classic cars and motorcycles. The Third Annual Richland County Law Enforcement Day takes place Tuesday, August 14th from 4PM-8PM.

    In recognition of National Falls Prevention Awareness Day, Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., the Richland Mall, Avita Health System, and Richland Public Health are partnering with STEADY U Ohio to help take "10 Million Steps to Prevent Falls."
