MANSFIELD, OH - The members of We ACT invites the public to have a Community Conversation: "How to Work Together for A Better Community."

The panel will take place from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on January 12th to conclude Spread the Light Week, a seven-day community effort to appreciate law enforcement. One featured panelist is Officer Peter Casuccio, a Columbus police officer who made national news for lecturing two young black boys, aged 11 and 13, instead of shooting them after receiving a call about two black males flashing a gun.

The panel will also include Carlos Christian, a rehabilitated felon, and community leaders Nicole Blakley, Kay Smith, and Jaylon Scott. All panelists will be sharing their stories and explaining their plan for improving their communities.

Other community events taking place during Spread the Light 2018 include:

January 7th: Coffee With a Cop at participating McDonald's restaurants.

January 8th: Mansfield Senior High Vs. West Holmes boys' basketball game at 7:30 PM

January 9th: Reading with a Cop Wednesday
