Kingwood To Host Glow And Beerfest; Magic At Renaissance

MANSFIELD, OH - The Kingwood Garden Crew is again preparing the spacious grounds for the 7th annual Great Pumpkin Glow complete with cornstalks/gourds, and hundreds of pumpkins in every imaginable design.

The Glow was voted in Travel and Leisure Magazine as Ohio's Best Fall Festival. 

October 14th and 15th the grounds will open at 5 p.m. for the nighttime glow.  In preparation for the event, families can hone in on their own creativity and decorate pumpkins October 11-13th, at the Kingwood Exhibition Hall, and place those pumpkins throughout the pathways and grounds for viewing.

Following the Pumpkin Glow, Monday, October 16th, it's the Pour One Nine BEERFEST, also on the grounds of Kingwood Gardens.

There will still be hundreds of decorated, carved pumpkins and fall decor throughout the grounds of the gardens, the perfect backdrop for the showcase of Ohio, craft, breweries and over 20 craft beers to sample from 7 breweries.

Staff of each brewery will be available for questions. Food will be available for purchase too.

For one show only, October 7th, at the Renaissance Theatre, it's Jay Owenhouse, legendary escape artist and one of the most awarded illusionists in history. 

His show, “Family Magic!" is an intimate evening of grand illusions voted by audiences and critics, "One of the Top 10 Live Shows in America."  

Owenhouse welcomes you to experience a night of illusions including Bengal tigers up close, dangerous escapes, and inspiring storytelling.

A tradition each fall is the Loudonville Street Fair on now through October 7th. 

The fact that this fair falls in the autumn season brings a host of cool weather-loving crowds out for a variety of fair food options, carnival games and rides, livestock shows and live music too. 

Enjoy the remainder of this fair which opened the 3rd, through Saturday.
