Crestline Police Chief Placed On Administrative Leave

CRESTLINE, OH - Crestline Chief of Police Joseph Butler was placed on administrative leave on Thursday. 

It is currently unknown why the chief was placed on leave. Sources tell WMFD that Chief Butler was escorted out of the building by the Crawford County Sheriff's Office. 

The Crawford County Sheriffs office said "no comment" when asked about Chief Butler.

    After an emergency meeting on Friday afternoon, Madison Schools officials confirmed with WMFD that the Madison School Board has voted unanimously five to zero to place Superintendent Shelley Hilderbrand on paid administrative leave.
