MANSFIELD, OH - Creative artists from Richland County have a new destination to showcase their passion.

A ribbon cutting was held for Theatre166 in downtown Mansfield. Theatre166 is a collective of actors, artists, musicians, directors and art advocates.

Mayor Tim Theater and members from the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce, including President/CEO Jodie Perry, were in attendance to help kick off the group's involvement in the community.

Theatre166's goal is to expand and explore each artist's vision while celebrating the craft and passion of the arts through the cultivation and promotion of original works.

Theatre166 will also be working with the Renaissance Theater by helping broaden the audience base.
