ONTARIO, OH - Pizza lovers, rejoice! You now have a new destination for the popular food.

Firenza Pizza celebrated their opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.

The pizza shop is located at 2074 Walker Lake Road next to Panera Bread. The Ontario location is the first location in Ohio for the Firenza Pizza franchise, which is based in Alexander, Virginia.

"Its a new trendy pizza style called 'fast-casual'," Justin Carroll, the manager of the Ontario location, said. "It's all extremely good ingredients, dough made from scratch every day, the finest cheeses, the finest sauces..."

A staple of the shop is its cook time. According to Carroll, each pizza takes about three and a half minutes to bake.

Firenza Pizza also has TVs set up in the shop, allowing people to watch sports games while enjoying a pizza.

"Just a nice casual fun atmosphere to come to eat some pizza." Carroll said.

The shop will also run a drive-thru service, where customers can order at the window, take a number, and then have their pizza delivered to their car when it's done cooking.

A delivery service is currently not in place, but Carroll says that they are looking into implementing it in the near future.
