Serious Injuries Reported After Morning Crash In Ashland

ASHLAND, OH - Ohio Highway Patrol, Ashland Sheriff’s Office, Mifflin EMS, Hayesville Fire Department, and Hayesville EMS responded to County Road 1095 at the intersection of Township Road 1704 for a two-vehicle accident.

Celia Anderson, 77, of Loudonville, was driving Southbound on County Road 1095 in a 1994 Chrysler Concorde. As Celia approached the curve on County Road 1095, she went left of center, striking a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis nearly head-on.

Lawrence Gregg, 83, of Ashland, was driving Northbound on County Road 1095 in a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis when he was struck by Anderson’s Chrysler Concorde.

Trooper Marshall, of the Ashland Post of the Highway Patrol said, “both drivers had their seat-belts on at the time of the crash and both were transported by EMS to University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center with serious injuries.”

Celia Anderson was cited for Left of Center.
