MANSFIELD, OH – The Phoenix Brewing Company celebrated their 3 year anniversary this Saturday with a 3 Years and 30 Beers party.

To commemorate the event, the local brewery had live music, outdoor games, food trucks, and over 30 beers on tap.

The Phoenix typically serves about 15 beers on tap in their main bar area, but introduced new types for the event.

Some of the beers featured included spin offs of their regular beer list, such as ‘Persephone Blood Orange’ and ‘Mary Jane Chai with Vanilla’.

The event was held all day Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m.

The Phoenix celebrates the anniversary of their opening every year, and this year had the largest crowd yet.

To handle the crowd, the bar expanded from their usual space. They served drinks in the main bar area, but also opened the brewery building next door.

The patio on the north side of the building was also opened for the first time this year.

Many people turned up to check out the event, enjoy the music, and have a cold beer.

The Phoenix is Mansfield’s only brewery of it's kind, and they have been steadily growing since their opening in 2014.

The bar attracts not only locals, but people traveling through Ohio. The staff says they often see people from out of town that stop by to check things out.

The brewery is currently branching out with their distribution, but don’t have plans to open another location at this time.

So for now, to get that perfect beer, you’ll have to visit the awesome staff at The Phoenix Brewing Company.

They are located at 131 N. Diamond Street in Mansfield. For more information on the brewery, you can find them on Facebook or check them out at http://www.phoenixbrewing.com/.
