Cash Prizes Available For Local Photo Contest

MANSFIELD, OH - From 8:00 AM on May 15th to 8 AM July 15th, 2017, Richland County Regional Planning Commission is holding a photo contest for all members of the community. This photo contest is open to participants of ALL ages. We are looking for creative photos that are people-centered and infused with the joy, energy and impact of walking and bicycling.

Selected winner photos will be featured in RCRPC’s “Richland County Active Transportation Plan”. The plan looks for improvements and ways to create an interconnected bicycle and pedestrian facility network linking our infrastructure.

All participants are permitted to submit up to 5 photos during the duration of the photo contestPhotos must be of good quality and resolution so they can be used in the Active Transportation Plan and other online and published materials.

The purpose of this contest is to showcase and celebrate the many different ways our county is becoming more active, with focus on how walking and biking improves your overall quality of life. Winners will be voted on by RCRPC and other community members and organizations. Prizes to be announced.
