Richland County Fair Is Underway With Lots Of Attractions

MANSFIELD, OH - The 2017 Richland County Fair opened up Sunday and continues Monday with gate admission for the fair at $5 with children under 48 inches admitted free.

The 167th edition of the Richland County Fair offers many attractions, food vendors, arts and crafts, animals, 4-H groups and showcases agriculture in the county.

This week's grandstand welcomes country singer Joe Diffie at 8 p.m. on Tuesday with tickets at $25 for the track and $20 for grand stand seating.

New this year is the Timberworks Lumberjack Show, which features log rolling, pole climbing, hot saw and ax throwing.

And the WMFD crew will be out all week producing shows from the fair.  

"At the Fair" airs daily at 9 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. each evening on WMFD TV.
