MANSFIELD, OH - A motorcycle crashed into a car around the area of 99 Malone Road just before 2:00 p.m., Wednesday.

According to neighbors, the bike was traveling at a high rate of speed. They spoke of a motorcyclist who routinely speeds through the area, going "70-80 miles per hour."

The neighbors all shared stories of the cyclist suddenly appearing behind or in front of their cars as they were leaving or entering their driveways, narrowly avoiding crashing into them.

"I knew it was gonna happen, man. Just a matter of time," said a resident who preferred not to be named.

One resident who lived close to the crash site said that the impact of the accident was so great that the cyclist's sunglasses whipped across a neighbor's yard, breaking a glass bottle nearby.

"We need speed bumps," said another unnamed resident. "You can't really see around the corner at that end of the street."

Police blocked the stretch of Malone Road with cruisers to fully investigate the scene. The cause of the crash is still undetermined.
