Veterans Appreciation Day A Success Despite Plane Crash

ASHLAND, OH- On Saturday, August 12, Ashland held its 4th annual Veterans Appreciation Day.

This event, hosted by the Ashland County Airport, runs all day featuring many activities for both veterans and the public at large, including performances by historical impersonators, rides in military vehicles, military aircraft landings and rides, and a special veterans photo.

Additionally, there will be a USO-style variety show, raffles, and a Bob Hope impersonator. 

In the evening there is a complimentary meal followed by a musical performance and fireworks.
