Regional Junior High Students Perform Fall Strings Concert

MANSFIELD, OH- On Sunday, November 12, at 3:00 PM, the Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings will present their annual Fall Concert on the stage of the Mansfield Senior High Auditorium under the direction of Matt Domka.

The concert will feature a variety of classical and contemporary music as well as some holiday repertoire, highlighting composers such as Tchaikovsky and Handel, among others.

The ensemble of forty-one students in grades 6 through 10 represents the following schools: Ashland Middle School, Clear Fork High School, Several Area Homeschools, Lexington Eastern Elementary, Lexington High School, Lexington Junior High, Lexington Western Elementary, Malabar Intermediate School, Mansfield Middle School, Mansfield Spanish Immersion, River Valley Middle School, and Willard Middle School.

Ensemble members include: Sorien Allen (Viola), Katie Bemiller (Violin II), Niamh Breault (Viola), Megan Coon (Viola), Liam Cummins (Cello), Seth Dahlhausen (Cello), Jesse Domka (Violin II), Annabelle Gandert (Violin II), Jacob Hathaway (Cello), Joe Hathaway (Cello), Gabe Hill (Cello), Natalie Holmes (Cello), Carolyn Johnson-Pierce (Bass), Melissa Jungeberg (Viola), Kloey Kaeser (Cello), Faith Kaschube (Violin I), Jax Lamp (Cello), Nico Laser (Cello), Joseph Litao (Violin I), Kelsey Logan (Violin II), Garrett McCoy (Violin II), Elisa McFadden (Viola), Issac McFadden (Violin II), Kayla McFadden (Violin I), Lydia Miller (Violin I), Wyatt Miller (Violin II), Rachel Mutti (Violin I), Ava Newdome (Violin I), David Newdome (Bass), Sierra Pauley (Violin I), Colton Pelphrey (Cello), James Prinz (Cello), Sam Prinz (Viola), Chloe Sackreiter (Cello), Grace Sarbach (Bass), Naomi Schag (Violin I), Katie Sheridan (Violin I), Maggie Sheridan (Violin I), Caroline Smith (Violin II), Elijah Williams (Bass), and Grace Yeichner (Violin II).

Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, general admission, and available at the Renaissance Box Office, at the door of the event, and online at MansfieldTickets.com. The Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings is presented as part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series. Additional support for this concert comes from The Gimbel Foundation and the Ohio Arts Council.
