LUCAS, OH - The Lucas Grace Bible Church missions team is raising funds to help those affected by this year's hurricane season, and this spring, they will visit Louisiana to help continue cleanup, rebuild and restore areas devastated by flooding, and other relief efforts.

"Everybody still remembers what happened with Hurricane Katrina about 13 years ago," said Josh Hooper, "But since then, more storms have damaged the area. There's been a lot of flooding. What we are going to do is send a group of people, about 15 or 20, they're going to go down and be the hands and feet of Jesus."

The group will rebuild homes, paint walls, and do anything necessary to make people in affected areas of the country feel more at home again after recovery.

Lucas Grace Bible Church plans to have another fundraiser in December and a final one in the spring before the group leaves for the trip. Dates for those fundraisers are to be decided.
