ONTARIO, OH - Lydia is a 6-month-old mix breed dog available for adoption at the Humane Society of Richland County in Ontario. She is WMFD-TV's Pet Of The Week!

Lydia is a living ball of youthful energy. She is everyone's best friend and loves to jump on you and nibble at you and play all day long. She is a sweet dog but has a lot to learn since she's only 6 months old. She was found on a porch in a wire crate covered in feces and urine and emaciated. She has made a great recovery and is ready for a new home.

Lydia would do well in a home with kids who can deal with her high energy style of play. She doesn't mind other dogs or cats and does well with all ages, but she plays hard

The Humane Society of Richland County is located at 3025 Park Avenue West in Ontario and is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from Noon to 5:00 PM and also Thursdays from Noon to 7:00 PM. Go visit Lydia and apply to adopt her or one of many animals available for adoption or fostering. If you can't adopt at this time you can still contribute by donating pet food, toys, leashes, litter, or time to HSRC or your local Humane Society.

Go to AdoptOurStrays.com to donate, view more animals, apply to adopt, apply to foster, or to learn more about getting involved.

Check back to WMFD.com every Wednesday afternoon for a brand new Pet Of The Week from The Humane Society Of Richland County.
