House Fire On Belmont Avenue Kills Pet Dog, Displaces Two

MADISON TOWNSHIP, OH - A house fire occured Wednesday night at 961 Belmont Avenue after 7:30 PM. 

According to Madison Township Fire Cheif Ron Luttrell, the fire originated from inside the front door. The fire destroyed many of the homes contents, The house sustained a major amount of heat damage. 

The house was occupied by two women who were not present at the home at the time. A dog was rescued from the home during the fire, but was unable to be resuscitated. 

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
