MARION, OH - More than 100 military veterans are behind bars in Ohio for crimes they committed after their service.

They were still able to honor Veterans Day, however, at a memorial built in their own prison yard.

The memorial, paid for and partially installed by an AMVETS Post, lists the 3,168 men and women from all 88 Ohio counties who either died or were listed as missing during the Vietnam War.

Officer Daniel Hudnell of the Marion Correctional Institution, said, "They are showing their dedication to their country. They are honorably discharged but they happen to be incarcerated and it's very moving to see."
