Man Killed In Officer-Involved Shooting

WHITEHALL, OH - Authorities say a man was killed in an officer-involved shooting Friday morning.

It happened as SWAT Team officers raided an apartment where officials say a resident was selling heroin and fentanyl.

Police say when officers entered the home, they encountered a man with a gun and were forced to open fire.

The 28-year-old man was hospitalized but died later from his injuries.

Authorities have not yet released his identity.

No officers were hurt.

The Columbus Division of Police is investigating the shooting.
