MANSFIELD, OH - In honor of We ACT's "Spread the Light" week, several officers met at Mansfield's Friendly House to help bridge community relations for "Cops and Kids" in a friendly game of dodgeball.

"Our organization, We ACT, started 'Spread the Light' back in 2016," said Angel Ross-Taylor, Co-Founder of We ACT. "It's a week where we put blue lights out and encourage the community to support law enforcement. We thought that we'd have the officers come play some dodgeball with the kids, bridging the gap between community and officers, just having everyone trying to get along."

Officers from the Mansfield Police Department, Ontario Police Department, and the State Highway Patrol all participated in the game, helping to create a stronger bond between police and community members.
