RICHLAND COUNTY, OH - The Fun Center Chordsmen announced their 2017 Inductee into the Chordsmen Hall of Fame on Thursday, an honor celebrating an individual's dedication to music and entertainment.

Jim Frye joined the chapter in 2011 and immediately became a valuable member of the tenor section. As the chapter leadership became aware of Jim’s many talents it became clear that he was a man who would be tapped for a leadership position within the chapter.

Within his first year of membership, Jim was elected the chapter President. He served two terms in that position and currently serves as the VP Music and Performance. Jim is the IT Director for the Upper Sandusky School System and is highly qualified in social media.

Jim has created many social media accounts on behalf of the Fun Center Chordsmen. He is the major communications portal for keeping the members informed of all activities within the chapter.

Jim was the Barbershopper of the Year in 2013 and has served the chapter as President, Webmaster, Social Media Manager and VP of Music and Performance.

Admission to the Chordsmen Hall of Fame (CHOF) is limited to members of the chapter who have, over several years, contributed to the chapter above and beyond normal membership activity or office holder. They must be a former Barbershopper of the Year (BOTY) Award recipient for five years. This is an honor like no other and is a permanent award to be cherished by the individual and honored by the chapter members at large.
