Tanker Truck Fire Causes Major Traffic Delay On US 30

MANSFIELD, OH - Traffic was stopped for nearly an hour Tuesday morning on US 30 Westbound near the State Route 39 exit due to a tanker truck fire. 

The Mansfield Fire Department and Mansfield Police Department responded to the scene just before 8:00 a.m. after a Speedway tanker truck overheated. 

US 30 was temporarily closed in both directions causing heavy delays for morning commuters. The delays lasted later into the day with confirmed reports of delays up to 10 am.
