MANSFIELD, OH - The Mansfield Noon Optimist Club hosted their 47th annual Mid-Ohio Home Show on March 9th, 10th, and 11th.

The event, held at the Richland County Fairgrounds, will allow around 70 vendors to interact with citizens and provide information on home services and products. Vendors range from roofing and waterproofing to landscaping and home security.

The Home Show also serves as the Mansfield Noon Optimist Club's biggest fundraiser of the year. They use proceeds to donate money to local children and charities, as well as to award scholarships.

The show is still going on Saturday and Sunday; they will close Saturday at 7 p.m. and be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, with a $3 charge per car per day. Veterans can also get in for free on Sunday.

WMFD spoke with Tom Stortz, a member of the Mid-Ohio Home Show Committee, who mentioned that the Noon Optimist Club is actively seeking new members and a new Optimist Club chapter is in the works at The Ohio State University's Mansfield campus.
