Community Pays Respects At Funeral Of Former Police Officer

MANSFIELD, OH - A funeral was held Friday morning at Mansfield Memorial Park for one of Mansfield's former police officers after he lost his battle with cancer at the age of 33.

Ryan D. Garner, who served on the K-9 and SWAT units in the Mansfield Police Department for over 10 years, is remembered as an inspiration to those around him. Friends and family regarded him as friendly and welcoming, with an upbeat, positive attitude and an unwavering dedication to his brothers and sisters in the police department.
