Galion Police Confiscate Forty Grams Of Crystal Meth

GALION, OH - The Galion Police Department, along with the Crawford County Special Response Team, executed a search warrant at 710 Boyd Boulevard on Tuesday, May 15th, as the result of an ongoing drug investigation.

Officers confiscated around forty grams of crystal methamphetamine during the search, as well as a firearm, drug paraphernalia, and some cash.

37-year-old Kevin Gibson is being held on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

36-year-old Christan Symsick is also being held on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. 

According to Galion PD, "These arrests were a culmination of an investigation of information developed through several sources. This is another case of joint cooperation between Crawford County law enforcement to combat the drug issues in our county."

From here, the investigation will fall to the Crawford County Prosecutor for the filing of formal charges against both suspects.
