METRICH Seizes Drugs, Cash, And More In Shelby

SHELBY, OH - The METRICH Enforcement Unit along with the Richland County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant that resulted in drugs, cash, firearms, and more to be seized on Thursday. 

The drug-related search warrant was served at 2724 Holtz Road in Shelby, Ohio. METRICH detectives seized approximately three ounces of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, prescription medications, over $500 in U.S Currency, 2 handguns, numerous rounds of ammunition, and a variety of assorted drug paraphernalia during the search. 

Jacob Stewart and Marc Noblit were arrested and charged during the search. Stewart was charged with Trafficking in Drugs, Possession of Drugs, Weapons under Disability, and Endangering Children. Noblit was charged with possession of drugs. 

Both Stewart and Noblit were incarcerated in the Richland County Jail pending an appearance in court. Additional charges may be forwarded by the Richland County Prosecutor. 

The search warrant was the result of a short-term investigation after several complaints of drug trafficking in the area. The search warrant was signed by Judge Studer.
