MANSFIELD, OH - An economic club luncheon provided updates on Inkcarceration and the Richland County Team that attended the South by Southwest conference in Texas.

Member from Inkcarceration were on hand to take a look back at the event and thank the community for the tremendous support they have received.

Representatives also revealed that $6,384.00 were raised for local charities in Richland County.

Members from the group that was sent to Texas for the South by Southwest Conference provided an update on their plan to revitalize downtown Mansfield with what they have learned from the conference.

The current plan is separated into three groups of focus: A place for business, a place for gathering, and a place for living. The team, which was formed by the Richland County Foundation, hope to implement these groups of focus into their presentation in December.

The current plan is to implement these changes in 2019.

In March, the Richland County Foundation sent 15 of Mansfield's most influential people to Austin, Texas to visit the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival, an annual event that invites a variety of speakers from all over the world to share their success stories and talk about the latest innovations in their respective industries.

After visiting the festival, the Mansfield group returned to Ohio to begin working on ways to help revitalize the downtown business district, as well as improve on other areas within the city.
