MANSFIELD - Richland Bank hosted a ribbon cutting and celebration Thursday evening at its main office on the square in downtown Mansfield to commemorate a remodel of their Trust and Investments wing.

The gathering was attended by many local officials including Mansfield Mayor Tim Theaker, County Commissioners Tony Vero and Marilyn John, and 2018 Miss Ohio Matti-Lynn Chrisman among others.

Guests were treated to catered food and drinks provided by MVP's Sports Bar and Grill and a musician performing acoustic songs and a duet with Miss Ohio.

Richland Bank President Chris Hiner expressed his excitement for the completion of the project saying "Over the last twelve to eighteen months we've spent about a million dollars or a little over a million dollars improving a couple of facilities and have many more to go." Hiner credit's his staff with the improvements being made saying "Its just the cumulation of the hard work of our trust and investment folks have done, and it's nice to have a nice space for our loyal customers."

Not breaking with tradition, Hiner proudly announced to the room that the renovation, which was extensive and took the area "down to the studs", was done entirely by local contractors much like their previous remodel of their Ontario branch.
