Structure Fire Claims One Life In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, OH - A structure fire has claimed the life of one female Friday morning. 

The Mansfield Fire Department responded to a call of a reported structure fire at 388 Opal Drive in the 7 AM Hour. 

Upon arrival, officers noticed smoke exiting from the house. Neighbors advised that a female may still be inside the home. 

Firefighters were able to find the female and pull her out, and treated her on the scene, however, the female succumbed to her injuries. 

The fire was contained within 8-10 minutes upon arrival.
