Oscar Nominated Studio Expanding To Ashland Ohio

ASHLAND, OH - An Oscar-nominated studio will be coming to Ashland, Ohio. 

Good Deed Entertainment announced that they will be expanding their business to Ashland, Ohio with the opening of a new headquarters. 

Cranked Up Films will also be joining and will offer services in development, production, financing, acquisition, and distribution as early as January 2019. 

GDE's Chief Operating Officer Nikki Stier Justice and VP of Acquisitions and Distribution Kristin Harris will be moving from Los Angeles to Ashland. 

"The Midwest is an exciting, new entertainment market and is a prime location for both production and post-production services," Scott Donley, CEO of Good Dead Entertainment, said. "Access to diverse filming locations, a wealth of talent in neighboring cities, and Ohio's excellent tax incentive make Ashland an ideal location for the next phase of our growth strategy."

GDE additionally announced that upcoming horror titles Mad River Valley and 27 Times will be taking advantage of local resources and will shoot on location in Ohio. 

Good Deed Entertainment's original productions include Nightmare Cinema and Coyote Lake. Its distribution slate, in addition to the Academy Award-nominated, Loving Vincent, includes Always at the Carlyle, Journey's End, American Folk, and Permission.
