New UH Samaritan Facility Coming To New London

NEW LONDON, OH - A new UH Samaritan facility will be coming to New London to bring healthcare service to the area. 

Plans for the construction will begin at 206 West Main Street in New London. The $1 million projects is slated for completion in the spring of 2019.

The facility will be 3,500 square feet and will house a 1,700 square foot urgent care. The plan will leave 1,800 square feet for future growth. 

"The Samaritan Hospital Foundation is excited to partner with the Archer family and Kent Watersports to build this facility which, in turn, allows UH Samaritan Medical Center to provide new healthcare services to this community." Richard Beal, the Samaritan Hospital Foundation president, said. 

"University Hospitals continue to expand its locations and services in our local communities," Karen McNeil, president of UH Samaritan Medical Center, said. "THis healthcare facility is a natural extension to services we provide in Ashland and surrounding areas. Patient's access to health care services and providers is of the utmost importance to us and this New London healthcare site allow to meet needs in an underserved area."
