MANSFIELD, OH - Mansfield Motor Group will be holding a food drive and Christmas tree lighting on November 29th in Mansfield.

The event will take place on November 29th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Mansfield Motor Group, located at 1493 Park Avenue West in Mansfield. The event is open to the public.

Attendees will only need to donate a non-perishable food item to be admitted into the event.

The food drive will benefit the Salvation Army and United Way. At exactly 7:00 PM, an 80' tall Christmas tree will be lit up. The tree is believed to be one of the largest in the state of Ohio.

"We've had that pine tree in our lot for years and people always wanted me to cut it down," MMG President Dirk Shluter said. "We lit the tree last year, but this year I wanted to do something different and bigger - in the spirit of giving and community."

Anyone who cannot attend the event are still encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items to MMG's Honda Showroom anytime during the week of November 19th during store hours.
