RCCS Thanks Community For Passing Of Replacement Levy

MANSFIELD, OH - Richland County Children Services (RCCS) replacement levy passed during election day. 

The passing of the 1-Mill Replacement Levy now secures funding for RCCS for the next 10 years. 

25,696 votes were for the levy, while 17,735 voted against. 

"I'd like to give a heartfelt thank you to the voters of Richland County, on behalf of our director Patty Harrelson and our board." Tim Harless, Director of Community Outreach and Programming, said. "We appreciate coming out and supporting us." 

Harless further states that the community understands the dedication the organization has for helping children and families of Richland County and that the passing of the levy showed that understanding. 

"I've always said that I'm proud to be a resident of Richland County," Harless said. "Very giving community... and it was very evident last night ."
