Bucyrus Woman Transported After One Vehicle Accident

CRAWFORD COUNTY, OH - A Bucyrus woman was transported after a one-vehicle injury crash occurred near Chatfield Village Limits. 

Authorities and EMS were dispatched to an injury accident on State Route 4, north of Chatfield Village Limits. 

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a Red 2013 Ford Edge laying on its passenger side. Four occupants were in the vehicle. 

The four occupants were 74-year-old Samson Goin of Bucyrus, 68-year-old Sharon Goin of Bucyrus, and two children ages 5 and 6. Samson Goin was the driver of the vehicle. Sharon Goin had unknown injuries from the crash. 

Sharon was transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital by Portsmouth EMS and then flown by medical helicopter to St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo Ohio for further treatment for her injuries. 

No citations were issued. 

The vehicle was removed from the scene by Bloomfield's Towing. The crash remains under investigation. 

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office, Chatfield Township Fire Department, Lykens Township Fire Department, Portsmouth EMS, and the Bucyrus post of the Ohio Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
