MANSFIELD, OH - A three-car accident that occurred at the intersection of OH-13 and Straub Road sent three drivers to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

At the time of the crash, a beige-colored Cadillac was heading eastbound on Straub Road while a beige Chevy Impala LT was turning right onto Straub Road from OH-13. A Saturn Aura XR was stopped at the stop sign on Straub Road.

According to authorities at the scene, the Cadillac had failed to yield as it crossed the intersection. As the Chevy turned right, it was struck by the Cadillac, pushing both cars onto Straub Road. The driver of the Saturn saw what was about to happen and attempted to reverse his vehicle, but was ultimately hit by the two cars and pushed further onto Straub Road.

Two of the drivers were transported to the hospital. One was transported by ambulance with serious injuries, and another was transported with unknown injuries. The driver of the Saturn was also transported to the hospital for minor injuries. All three cars were disabled after the crash and were towed from the scene.

Those that responded to the scene included the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Washington Township Fire and EMS, and Shelly Smith & Sons Towing.
