Polar Express Brings Holiday Cheer To Shelby

SHELBY, OH- The annual Shelby Polar Express event brought lots of holiday cheer to local families on Sunday afternoon.

The event took was free to children ages 12 and under, and took place on Main Street and offered a variety of family-friendly events including Christmas cookie decorating and writing letters to Santa.

Families were able to pet live reindeer to get them in the Christmas spirit as well as take pictures with Santa and other holiday characters.   Ice sculpting was another major attraction throughout the afternoon.

The event concluded with Ashland Railway's Polar Express came to town at 5 pm, bringing with it lots of Christmas cheer.
