Two Injured In Two Car Accident In Ashland

ASHLAND, OH - Two drivers have been transported to the hospital with injuries after a two-car accident at the intersection of State Route 89 and State Route 302 earlier today.

A call was received by the Ashland post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 10:01 AM this morning. Troopers responded along with the Ashland County Sheriff's Office, the Polk Fire Department and Polk EMS. Both drivers were transported to Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, while a cat that was in one of the vehicles is safely awaiting its owner's return at the Polk fire station.

The Chevy Malibu was heavily damaged and towed by Aber's Towing & Crane Center in Ashland. The Toyota Camry received heavy front end damage and was towed by Gibbs Towing.
