MANSFIELD, OH - The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging held its Annual Meeting luncheon, during which many valued members of the community were honored with awards.

The meeting took place at 12:00 at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center in Mansfield. It was kicked off with opening remarks by Beth Myers, President of the Board of Trustees, and CEO Duana Patton.

Among those honored at the event were Ohio State Mansfield and NC State, both given the Project Collaboration Award for the Campus Dining Program. The entire Springfield Township Fire Department was honored with the Community Partnership Award, and State Representative Sarah LaTourette was named Elected Official of the Year.

Over 300 individuals were in attendance, including Tim Theaker, Mayor of Mansfield, several county commissioners, and dozens of first responders from several counties. We anticipate about 400 people will be in attendance, including staff, business leaders, and elected officials.
