One Transported After Multi Vehicle Accident In Ontario

ONTARIO, OH - The Ontario Police Department investigated a multi-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday morning. The incident occurred at the intersection of West 4th Street and Lexington Springmill Road at 9:00 AM.

Two vehicles were traveling westbound on 4th Street when a vehicle traveling southbound on Lexington Springmill hit a truck, causing it to strike the vehicle to its left. The truck was then overturned on its side. It is suspected that the vehicle that was traveling southbound ran a red light, causing the crash. Another car lost its tire during the crash. The tire dented another car as a result.

The driver of the overturned truck was transported with minor injuries to a local hospital. 

The scene was cleared at 9:45 AM. The Ontario Police Department is still investigating the crash.
