CRESTLINE, OH - The execution of a narcotics search warrant resulted in multiple arrests and drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash seized in Crestline.

On February 12th, multiple units from the Crawford County Sheriffs Office, Crawford County Special Response Team, and the METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at 320 West Avenue in Crestline. The warrant was a result of an ongoing drug investigation in which detectives were investigating the sale of methamphetamines. Drugs, drug paraphernalia, and an unspecified amount of cash were seized during the search of the residence.

As officers investigated the home, one of the officers discovered a "suspicious device", thought to be a homemade pipe bomb, in the garage of the residence. As a precaution, officials requested the assistance of the Ashland County Bomb Squad. Several Bomb Squad members responded to the scene and used a robot to detonate the device, but later found the device to be safe.

Three individuals were arrested during the search. Arrested were Terry L. Thoman, Juanita J. Diles, and Jeremy M. Wise. All three lived at the location.

Thoman was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and possession of drugs methamphetamine. Both are third-degree felonies. Diles was charged with Possession of Drugs Methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony. Wise was charged with Possession of Drugs Methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be added by the Crawford County Prosecutors Office.
